The Advantage Machinery AMS-JR is our latest mailer development. Garrido has been an innovator with fully automatic paper encapsulation machines. First with our High Speed Dual Side Sealer, DSS-80P which has been used for cold chain encapsulation. Then in partnership with Intertape Polymer Group, we developed the AMS High Speed Paper Mailer machine.
Now we are happy to introduce the AMS-JR. This is a simple to use fully automatic machine for paper mailers. The machine uses rolls of heat sealable paper to create a shippable bag around an e-Commerce product. The machine comes standard with 3ft infeed conveyor to allow easy feeding of the line. 2 indexing conveyors will space and properly feed the product through the initial bagging process. The 2 rolls are sealed in the end and before the product reaches the paper, a servo motor controlled gripper system pulls the paper while the product enters and the sleeve is made. At this point the leading and trailing edges are sealed and the sides are open. This area has a mount for a print and apply labeler which applies the shipping label.
The product then goes into the side sealing section which seals both sides. The sealing blades can work to just seal and not trim or to seal and trim to have a perfectly finished bag. The machine can come with a 3ft or 6ft exit conveyor. Many options are available, including the Numina Groups full connection with client WMS systems and product sorting.
The AMS-JR has many high level features. The conveyors are motorized roller conveyor (MDR's) which take up less space and are energy efficient. The machine has servo motor controlled bag length, jaw opening and seal centering. As the product passes through the indexing conveyors, the height is measured and the proper bag length is made in relation to both the height and the length. The sealing jaw openings adjust on a product by product basis. This helps maintain an even seal no matter the heighht. The unwind shafts are 3" in diameter with penumatic roll locking. An electric roll lift is included with the machine to help facilitate the feeding of the machine.
The AMS-JR can seal paper along with other subtrates such as Poly, Bubble, etc. Some tooling change maybe necessary. Also the AMS-JR is available in a larger size that can handle up to a 24" roll width and a 16" max product width.
